Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience applying lawn and plant fungicides, pesticides & fertilizers
  • Knowledge of equipment use & ability to calculate application rates and equipment calibration
  • Knowledge of organic products (preferred, not required)
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Ability to diagnose insect and disease and implement a solution
  • Ability to perform all duties with minimum supervision and direction
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Must pass a background check

Responsibilities:

  • Perform chemical and fertilizer applications on high-end, estate gardens.
  • Communicate with Garden Managers
  • Spotting, diagnosing, and treating turf and plant issues
  • Ability to complete daily paperwork, including complete and accurate pesticide applications
  • Drive and operate company provided spray truck
  • Mix, load, and apply fertilizers/herbicides to numerous sites each day
  • Attend all required safety training and utilizing proper safety equipment.

Compensation

  • Competitive compensation starting at $23/per hour, based on experience
